Care Homes Jacobite Jock, story-teller. From the Highlands comes a man with tales to tell, songs to sing and a wee bit of poetry too. Now forgive me but I keep seeing activities in such places comprising of bingo sessions and somebody calling in with a keyboard for a singalong. We believe people in care deserve better stuff than that and by giving them upbeat Scottish stories and perhaps invoking happy memories, we KNOW we can raise their spirits. With a good bit of Scottish history and culture, fun and lots of interaction, we believe we have much to offer. This can be a one-off or regular appearances to develop relationships and bring about good expectations of up-coming shows. Again, we regard this as important work, not frivolous entertainment and we are happy to work with agencies to develop programmes that enhance people's lives.
